Wolfwhoop WT05-DVR AIO Micro Camera : a bit of a headache

the title of this review says almost everything. There is no discernible latency when the camera’s dvr is recording. It handles most lighting conditions very well. Though larger and heavier than some other fpv aio cameras, it is still light enough for most 65mm builds with 7x16mm, 6x17mm, or even 6x15mm motors. There is no audio, which is not a big deal since one would hear nothing save the motors anyways. Stl files out there for 3-d printed camera mounts as well. I would have no concerns about buying another one should i need to.

Just wish it was more then sd. Audio that is in all the recordings. Fpv dvr camera turbowing cyclops3 5. 8g mini video audio recorder dvr-cam aio 1/3 cmos 700tvl 120 degree ntsc for fpv racing multicopters will do 720p dvr with audio just has no transmitter. Would be amazing for you to do all 3?. 720p dvr, audio, and transmitter.

My green was video out and yellow was video in. Also typically you need the red wire on the inside or 2nd slot and black on the outer slot. I used a razorblade and swapped the pins at the plug.

I’d recommend this 100 times. If you don’t need the green and yellow wires, simply solder them together.

  • A capable, well-priced, standard definition, all in one camera with on-board DVR
  • Great cam!
  • SD recording, awkward to mount, access, and strange audio track.

  1. I bought this with the hopes of recording better quality drone footage than just recording 5. 8gz with its flickers & glitches but this thing records video at a much lower quality than what it transmits. Better off to just record remote video. Not to mention, the thing gets crazy hot during normal operation wasting a ton of battery just blasting off heat. Also, it somehow made 6 copies of the exact same video instead of recording what i was trying to record. Not sure what happened there, it’s buggy as hell. You’d be better off getting the cheapest 5. 8ghz camera and a receiver that can hook to your phone/computer to record.
