Can’t go wrong with this transmitter. The instructions and controls to change power levels is not intuitive, but works well for transmitting thermal imager camera to a remote viewing monitor. Transmitter get hot at max power, wouldn’t suggest this in a enclosed case without a fan.
Overall a great deal but it suffers from the smart audio protocol bug; it wouldn’t work for me until i reverted to betaflight 3. 4 firmware with akk clone fix. Pretty annoying i can’t run the latest beta flight.
I’ve always trusted wolfwhoop. Video not better or worse than any other vtx.
Not sure how you mount this on a stack of a 5in 220 stretch x frame. The cable with the mmcx connector is too long.
So i’m giving this product a five star review for a few simple reasons one being it’s a 30 x 30 stackable, it’s a high voltage output with smart audio, for the price you really can’t ask better. While doing a full review of this product on amazon i did notice a small labeling problem where on the silk screen of the board is noted for 7 to 24 v but because wolfwhoop customer service is quick to respond i was able to clarify before posting my video that it was just a miss print in this board can safely take up to 26 v which is absolutely great. This is a long range radio transmitter capable of transmitting up to 600 mw. There is a 1200mw setting but because of us fcc regulations the 1200mw setting is locked.
Is effective nicely and you can regulate the energy and channels on bf osd.
