BETAFPV Beta65S 65mm Whoop Frame Kit 3, I keep buying this frame, motor setup

Every single five several hours or so of traveling you want new brushed motors and most probably a new frame. I fly outside largely and this set up is enjoyment and has some additional oomph than the preceding version. Flight periods with a 300mah 1s are about 3 minutes.

I truly delight in betafpv items — i’ve bought a beta65s, beta75s, and now a beta65x and beta75x in my tinywhoop ‘hangar. You can find been so substantially buzz about their new 2s whoops (the 65x and 75x) that i assume most folks have overlooked what helps make *brushed* whoops fairly so entertaining: confident, they are not as ‘zoomy’ as their even bigger brothers. But they are however an complete blast to fly indoors — primarily for the duration of these chilly wintertime months. The flight envelope of a dialed in 7x16mm establish is actually something specific — primarily when you might be doinking all over a residing home or garage. As much as i adore the speed of a brushless whoops, brushed builds will constantly be my best preference for indoors proximity flying. To that end, when i read that betafpv had revised their beta65s frame (and paired it with a peppy set of 19000kv motors), i knew i had to look at it out. I was hesitant at initially — who desires to tear apart a doing work construct?.The frame is more powerful, the motors are responsive it’s a obvious enhance for absolutely sure.

I used this frame and motor combo to develop a lowrider. This frame doesn’t have the led holder like the v3, and has also had other unwanted plastic eradicated, decreasing the bodyweight of the v4 frame pretty substantially. The battery holder on this design has been moved back again up closer to the body of the frame and feels much much better in comparison to the v3, where the centre of gravity staying reduce made acro pretty challenging. The elevated middle of gravity combined with the reduced bodyweight tends to make this frame take care of acro without the need of troubles even though getting stiff sufficient for racing without the need of needing a stiffener. The motors that appear in this kit are the 19000kv 7×16, and have terrific punch and energy for a lot more demanding freestyle maneuvers. This develop weighs 25 grams and will get about four-minute flights flying fairly aggressively. I utilised a white established of betafpv tri-props on the build, but they are the specific exact same as the blue kinds. The tri-props assist to give a for a longer time flight time but lack a very little little bit of punch. I finished up swapping around to the betafpv four blade props and it feels much far better to me, even though it does shorten flight situations some. That is a single recommendation i would make to the vendor is to provide this kit with a four blade selection.

No problems included a flight controller and battery and up up and away.

This kit can make a perfect enhance for the authentic 65s . The frame is lighter pounds, the motors are far more highly effective, and it flies like a desire. I was now happy with the way the 65s flew, but the moment i crafted this just one and flew it i was blown absent . I flew 6 batteries in a row, and had a grin on my encounter the full time. I even managed to get far more flight time on this set up as when compared to the unique. I personal the 65s, 75s, eighty five, 75x, and have the 65x requested. They are all distinctive, and have their very own personalities. This minor quad is fantastic for the traveling i do in my residence. I am incredibly happy with this acquire, and a lot of thanks to betafpv for continuing to listen to their customers enter, and creating what the shoppers want.

the new beta fpv kit arrives with 7x16mm 19000kv motors (. 8mm shaft), 65mm frame for 716 motors (version three) and 31mm props. Your tiny whoop will be a rocket soon after this upgrade. I had utilised a good deal of 615 and 616 motors with significant kv, they are great but get rid of their electrical power in a very brief time. My first working experience with 7×16 motors was with the beta fpv 17500kv. They are pleasant motors with a great torque and, quite critical from my issue of perspective, a more time lifetime. When i noticed the beta fpv 7×16 19000kv hit the market place i was extremely content. I appreciate the 17500 version, but the 19000 steal my coronary heart. The more rpm provides you a good punch, but the torque is my preferred aspect. A massive portion of the kit is the new version of the 716 frame.

I requested two of these and designed one out with the betafpv f3 flysky fc and the other with the betafpv f4 frsky fc. Both equally fly really effectively, my son and i have a whole lot of enjoyable bashing these close to. They are quite toughbetafpv also has wonderful client company.

Comments from buyers

“The best just got better!
, Massive frame improvement and great motors
, Wonderful Upgrade !!!!!

This is a good frame, motor setup. My first develop right after flying a stock inductrix and the inductrix as well as. I would do it all over again for positive.

I purchased this to substitute the first betafpv 65s frame with 17500kv motors the v1 motors have been wonderful but the frame was crooked and weak. You can see it straight and has braces on the ducts. I was satisfied with the 17500kv but the 19000kv motors are a apparent enhancement. The look to have tons of electrical power and deal with the propwash good when executing a hundred and eighty turns into dirty air. When needed beta helps make quickly improvements by rapidly revising solutions. Total wonderful goods at fantastic charges.

Every 5 hours or so of flying you need new brushed motors and most likely a new frame. I fly outside mostly and this setup is fun and has some more oomph than the previous version. Flight times with a 300mah 1s are about 3 minutes.

    1. I bought this to replace the original betafpv 65s frame with 17500kv motors the v1 motors were great but the frame was crooked and weak. You can see it straight and has braces on the ducts. I was happy with the 17500kv but the 19000kv motors are a noticeable improvement. The seem to have tons of power and handle the propwash great when doing 180 turns into dirty air. When needed beta makes fast improvements by quickly revising products. Overall great products at great prices.

I used this frame and motor combo to create a lowrider. This frame doesn’t have the led holder like the v3, and has also had other unnecessary plastic removed, lowering the weight of the v4 frame pretty substantially. The battery holder on this model has been moved back up closer to the body of the frame and feels much better compared to the v3, where the center of gravity being lower made acro very hard. The raised center of gravity combined with the reduced weight makes this frame handle acro without issues while being stiff enough for racing without needing a stiffener. The motors that come in this kit are the 19000kv 7×16, and have great punch and power for more demanding freestyle maneuvers. This build weighs 25 grams and gets about 4-minute flights flying fairly aggressively. I used a white set of betafpv tri-props on the build, but they are the exact same as the blue ones. I ended up swapping over to the betafpv 4 blade props and it feels much better to me, though it does shorten flight times some. That is one suggestion i would make to the seller is to offer this kit with a 4 blade option.

the new beta fpv kit comes with 7x16mm 19000kv motors (0. 8mm shaft), 65mm frame for 716 motors (version 3) and 31mm props. Your tiny whoop will be a rocket after this upgrade. I had used a lot of 615 and 616 motors with high kv, they are good but lose their power in a very short time. My first experience with 7×16 motors was with the beta fpv 17500kv. They are nice motors with a great torque and, very important from my point of view, a longer lifetime. When i saw the beta fpv 7×16 19000kv hit the market i was very happy. I love the 17500 version, but the 19000 steal my heart. The extra rpm gives you a great punch, but the torque is my favorite part. A big portion of the kit is the new version of the 716 frame.

    1. This kit makes a perfect upgrade for the original 65s . The frame is lighter weight, the motors are more powerful, and it flies like a dream. I was already pleased with the way the 65s flew, but once i built this one and flew it i was blown away . I flew 6 batteries in a row, and had a grin on my face the entire time. I even managed to get more flight time on this setup as compared to the original. I own the 65s, 75s, 85, 75x, and have the 65x ordered. They are all special, and have their own personalities. This little quad is perfect for the flying i do in my house. I am extremely pleased with this purchase, and many thanks to betafpv for continuing to listen to their customers input, and producing what the customers want.

I really enjoy betafpv products — i’ve got a beta65s, beta75s, and now a beta65x and beta75x in my tinywhoop “hangar. There’s been so much hype about their new 2s whoops (the 65x and 75x) that i think most people have forgotten what makes *brushed* whoops quite so fun: sure, they’re not as “zoomy” as their bigger brothers. But they are still an absolute blast to fly indoors — especially during those cold winter months. The flight envelope of a dialed in 7x16mm build is really something special — especially when you’re doinking around a living room or garage. As much as i love the speed of a brushless whoops, brushed builds will always be my top choice for indoors proximity flying. To that end, when i heard that betafpv had revised their beta65s frame (and paired it with a peppy set of 19000kv motors), i knew i had to check it out. I was hesitant at first — who wants to tear apart a working build?.The frame is stronger, the motors are responsive; it’s a noticeable upgrade for sure.
